Hawaiian Surfer Breaks Record For Riding Biggest Wave Ever

Last November Garrett McNamara, a 44-year-old Hawaiian surfer, caught and rode the biggest wave ever off the coast of Portugal.  The wave towered at 78 feet, beating the old by more than a foot. The Guinness Book of Records confirmed the record Friday in London.
