Children Abducted In Peoria Found Safe

PEORIA, IL (KPLR)– Illinois State Police have cancelled an Amber Alert for two children missing from Peoria, Illinois. Authorities say the children were found safe with their mother late Thursday.

The Illinois State Police Department issued the alert for 1-year-old Moriah Milan and 2-month-old Audermar Peterson Thursday afternoon after they were allegedly taken by their non-custodial mother, Nyway Lois Abbaa.

 Abbaa was accompanied by King Peterson, a black male, 25 years of age, 6’0” tall, weighing approximately 180 pounds.   He has not been located.
