(CNN) - The FAA has sent a warning to a delta airlines passenger who used his camera last month to record a flock of birds hitting the plane minutes after takeoff.  The right engine of the plane shut down after a flock of birds hit it.

The pilot had to make an emergency landing.

Grant Cardone shot the video, but you know the rules, all portable electronic devices must be turned off during takeoff and landing.  The FAA told Cardone to follow the rules from now on or face a penalty the next time.
