Shuttle Discovery Gets New Home

St. Louis, MO (KPLR)  The Space Shuttle Discovery is settling into its new home just outside Washington, DC. A special ceremony helped celebrate the official hand-off of Discovery by NASA. Fourteen of Discovery's 31 living commanders participated in the festivities. The agencies' director says placing Discovery at the Smithsonian continues NASA's mission of helping to educate the public. The shuttle will reside at the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum's center near the Dulles Airport.
