ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) -    This is tax deadline day.  Normally, that date is April 15th, but it fell on a Sunday this year, and Monday was Emancipation Day in Washington D.C., which made today the deadline day.

The easiest way to file is on line.  About 80% of taxpayers now file electronically.  If you do plan to file the old fashioned way, be aware that very few if any post offices stay open late on tax deadline day.
