
(CNN) - A bizarre new diet trend is catching on with brides to be. Brides looking to shed pound before their wedding are trying a diet called 'K-E Diet'. The dieters inserting a feeding tube into their noses that runs to the stomach. The brides to be are fed a constant slow drip of protein and fat, mixed with water.
They carry the food solution with them in a bag, like a purse, keeping the tube in their nose for 10 days straight.
Supporters say the 'K-E Diet' is a hunger-free, effective way of dieting, where patients can lose up to 20 pounds in 10 days.
But experts say rapid weight loss can be dangerous and the results probably won't last long.
