ST. LOUIS, MO (KPLR)– Cardinal fans celebrating Opening Day will need to get downtown early on Friday. The Hyatt Regency St. Louis at The Arch is offering free parking at 150 meters surrounding the stadium all day.

“Our hotel is always filled with Cards fans during home games; the complimentary parking meters are our way of welcoming them back for another season of great baseball in St. Louis,” said Brian Morris, Hyatt’s director of sales and marketing.

The selected parking meters will be marked by blue Hyatt-branded covers and will be located on Market Street (between Broadway and 11th St.), Chestnut Street (between 4th and 7th St.), 7th Street (between Market and Walnut St.), and 8th Street (between Market and Walnut St.). The meters will be free to use between the hours of 7AM and 7PM on April 13, 2012.

This is the 3rd consecutive year that Hyatt is securing free parking meters near Busch Stadium.
