CLEVELAND, OH (CNN) - When "Guns N' Roses" is inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame this weekend, a major part of the legendary rock group will not be among them.

Co-founder Axl Rose tells the Los Angeles Times he will not attend the induction ceremony on Saturday.

In a lengthy letter to the Times, Rose said -quote- "I respectfully decline my induction as a member of Guns N' Roses to the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame."

Rose has a long and very public feud with other former members of the band, particularly guitarist "Slash".

He still tours with a band under the name "Guns N' Roses", although Rose is the only original member.
