(CNN)   It’s unclear if criminal charges will be filed against neighborhood watchman George Zimmerman in the Trayvon Martin shooting death.
Zimmerman posted a statement on his website saying how his life was altered by the event and he’s had to leave his home, school employer and family.
Also,  authorities say an empty police cruiser was shot up in the same area where Trayvon Martin was killed this morning.

Police say the car, parked at an elementary school parking lot in Sanford, Florida, was shot several times.
The Sanford Police Department says they had parked it there as a deterrent to the tour buses, bringing throngs of protesters, and then parking on the school property.
A special prosecutor is investigating the controversial shooting case and will determine whether criminal charges will be filed against George Zimmerman.

Zimmermans says he shot Martin in self defense.
