Two Officers Arrested For Assault On Teens

ST. LOUIS, MO (KPLR) – Police officers Rory Bruce and David Wilson have been charged with 3rd degree assault on a prisoner.  The warrants are for two unrelated incidents that occurred earlier this year.

Officer Rory Bruce and other St. Louis Police officers arrested a 16-year-old boy for delinquency felony charges. Officers had handcuffed the suspect with his hands behind his back behind the police car.  Dashcam video recording shows Officer Bruce punching the teen in the head as he stands handcuffed behind the car.

In a separate unrelated incident Police Officer David Wilson  arrested a 16-year-old boy for delinquency felony charges. Video fro the police car also shows Officer Wilson taking the suspects property and punching him in the head while handcuffed.

The Circuit Attorney’s Internal Affairs Division brought these cases to light through their internal investigation.
