You Decide 2012:  Saturday was caucus day for the Republican Party in Missouri. Candidate Rick Santorum was in St. Louis Saturday morning fighting for delegates in the run for the White House.  He started the day with a meet and greet at Westminster Christian Academy in Town and Country.

Santorum won the Missouri Primary held back in February. However, that election awarded no delegates.  Candidate Mitt Romney, the Republican front-runner, was the runner-up in the Missouri primary.

Santorum also held a meet-and-greet at a Schnucks in Wildwood Saturday morning. He then moved on to campaign stops in Illinois.  The Land of Lincoln holds its primary election on Tuesday.

A caucus in Ballwin was delayed by candidate Rick Santorum`s pre-caucus visit .

Voter Kathy Dampier said, “Maybe he has nothing to do with it but it seems a little bit calculated to me.  People are tire. A lot of the Romney people are leaving.  No one wants to spend the whole day here.  You`re trying to do your civic duty.”

Once they started caucusing, the close to 200 people raised their hands, laid down their rules, then followed them, while keeping their campaign spirit.

But police were called to a caucus in St. Peters, MO. A crowd, estimated at more than 1,000, at Francis Howell North high school couldn`t agree to a rule that no recording devices be allowed and wouldn`t agree on who should lead the caucus.

St. Peter’s Police cleared the caucus after the unrest started. There never was any voting for delegates for any candidate. St. Peters Police arrested two men for trespassing, after being warned repeatedly to leave the school. They were released on summonses.

There's no word on whether the St. Peters caucus will be rescheduled.

Mitt Romney campaigned in the St. Louis area Saturday night.  He held a town hall meeting Saturday night at the Gateway Center in Collinsville, IL.
