President Obama’s March Madness Bracket

President Barack Obama appeared on ESPN to make his 2012 March Madness picks with Andy Katz.  Check out the commander in cheif’s picks for the final four.

The Los Angeles Times reports that the president’s picks have a “distinctly swing state flavor” to them in this election year.

Obama predicts Missouri, Ohio State, Kentucky and North Carolina to make it to the final fopur.  These are all purple states and could be contested gound this November.  They are also safe choices.  Missouri and Ohio are two seeds.  North Carolina and Kentucky are top seeds in their divisions.

The president’s campaign website has a bracket challenge contest.  Supporters can make their own tournament predictions to compare to Obama’s picks.
