MARYLAND HEIGHTS, MO. (KPLR11)-I've never had a political sign in my yard and I've never even put a political bumper sticker on my car.  But I've seen plenty of others who have.  Some are pretty creative.

Some neighborhood associations have rules about front yard signs.  Some don't allow them.  They're going for that Pleasantville sort of look.

Well now a Missouri lawmaker wants to set some rules for subdivisions, condo associations and political signs.

His compromise plan would allow signs 90 days before an election and 10 days after one.

But some people just like living in a community without any signs.  If that's the way they like it then so be it.

The signs don't bother me; but a subdivision that passes rule through resident’s votes should be able to ban these signs if they want to.

I'm JB and that's The Way It Oughta Be.
