Lego Space Shuttle Reaches Space

This Romanian man launched a Lego space shuttle into the stratosphere.  To do it he attached the toy along with two H-D cameras to a weather balloon. On December 31st, he launched the rig from Germany where flight clearance laws were a little more lax.

He tracked the journey by GPS and found the Lego shuttle safe and sound more than 125 miles away.

Right now, he is taking a poll on what to launch next. Options include the Death Star from Star Wars or a Buzz Lightyear figurine.
