Child Shot In Glasgow Village

Glasgow Village-Just before 10 am Friday morning, St. Louis County Police were called to the 400 block of Midlothian Drive in Glasgow Village of North St. Louis County for the shooting of a 2 year old child.  The child was then airlifted to St. Louis Children’s Hospital in critical condition.

Police are interviewing family members in the home about the shooting and have recovered weapons in the home.  The weapons will be tested to determine which weapon was used in the shooting.

Authorities stress that neighbors are not in danger and that the shooting appears to be accidental for now.

Authorities are continuing to investigating the incident.
