All 3 Escapees From Bond County, Back In Custody

GREENVILLE, IL ( in Bond County say all three escapees from the Bond Clay Jail are now back in custody.  Two were caught Thursday morning in Indiana driving the Carlyle, Illinois mayor’s car.

Police captured James Hickman, 21, and Joshua Frith, 26, around 8:40 a.m. when an Indiana trooper pulled them over during traffic stop.   Brian Wilt was captured in Carbondale, Illinois just before 11 am, by the United States Marshals Service Fugitive Task Force.

The man hunt started early Thursday morning at the Bond County Jail after the three men jumped an officer, making their escape through a door that was unlocked for maintenance. Authorities say the men stole a car and were stopped by a Clinton County officer in Greenville. The suspects got out and ran.

Authorities say the trio stole two vehicles in Carlyle, IL.  The first is a gray 2011 Chevy Impala with Illinois plates N615984 and a black 2002 Chrysler 4-door with Illinois plates G979574.
