First Lady Making Fundraising Stop In St. Louis Monday

First Lady Michelle Obama is spending Monday in Missouri, starting in Kansas City and then coming here to St. Louis later in the day. It's all part of an day-long fundraising trip.

Mrs. Obama will arrive at Lambert International Airport at around 3:00pm where she will be greeted by 25 veterans from all branches of the military and their families who are part of The Mission Continues, a nonprofit organization that helps post 9-11 veterans transition and utilize their skills after deployment.

As President Obama’s reelection campaign amps up, the First Lady is cashing in on her broad popularity with the public.  Her first stop will be in Kansas City Monday morning . The St. Louis event will take place at the Peabody Opera House downtown.
