Thieves Break Into Cars at Lambert Airport

Vandals broke into several cars at Lambert Airport overnight. Many of the cars belong to American Airlines employees.  Lambert police are not saying much but Bridgeton police say they have recovered the van that the suspects used.

The first call came into Lambert police around 12:30 a.m.  Windows on at least 17 cars got smashed at the American Airlines employee parking lot. That is near Natural Bridge Road. At first, police did not think any travelers were affected but then they found cars in the commuter lot hit too.

Many travelers will get back in town to find big repair bills and missing valuables.
