The Lambert Airport concourse that’s been closed since it took a direct hit from the Good Friday tornado will reopen within two months.

Repair costs are being totally covered by insurance and FEMA and that’s allowed the airport to re-design and modernize the damaged “C” concourse.

It will open for business again with 11 operating gates in late March or early April.

In addition to the re-modeled “C” concourse, almost all of the hundreds of the airport’s custom-made glass panels shattered by the tornado have now been replaced.
