An anti-smoking group is heated over St. Louis County's smoking ban. They say it doesn't go far enough. Tobacco Free St. Louis is calling on the county council to get rid of 145 exemptions to the ban. Some bars, restaurants and casinos are exempt. The largest number of exemptions are in North County where medical experts say there is already a high incidence of heart attacks and respiratory diseases.

Smoke Free St. Louis is calling for a statewide smoking free law to level the playing field. The group says two-thirds of the states have gone totally smoke free.
