With the end of the weekend comes the official beginning of winter. However the warmest temps of the weekend join the Winter Solstice on Sunday with highs in the upper 40s. Expect a bit of sunshine to mix in with the clouds tomorrow through the afternoon, providing a partly cloudy look most of the day. The temporary warming trend continues into Monday with highs around 50º. The arrival of a strong frontal system brings periodical rain showers Monday-Tuesday. As cold air follows, a transition from rain to snow appears likely by Tuesday evening- Wednesday. While snow continues to appear probable in some capacity, temps do not look cold enough to support much accumulation. We’ll continue to monitor this. Christmas Day is dry with some sunshine returning and highs in the lower 40s. Hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas!
