High pressure settles over the bi-state today, providing blue sky, ample sunshine, and a cooler air mass.  The dry and sunny conditions diminish tomorrow ahead of an advancing low pressure system.  This brings an increase in clouds through the day with a few, spotty showers by later afternoon-evening.  Temperatures are seasonable in the mid 60s, but a much colder air mass settles in after the rain.  Halloween Friday looks to be drier but chilly, with highs well below average in the upper 40s and a drop in temperatures through the afternoon.  We’re anticipating the first widespread frost Friday night as lows drop below freezing.
