Periods of rain and thunderstorms will continue Sunday evening and night, with heavy rain expected east of St. Louis into central Illinois. Wet weather will linger into the Monday morning commute then we’ll dry out and see decreasing clouds. The return of sunshine means a pop in temperatures Monday into the upper 60°s. Another shot of cool air arrives Tuesday with gusty winds and spotty showers. Look for a warm up Wednesday and Thursday before another shot of cold air arrives Friday. Could see a wide spread frost Saturday night into Sunday. –Angela Hutti @AngWxGrl on Twitter
