Mostly cloudy skies Sunday evening and into the overnight. A slow, rolling area of low pressure moves in early Monday morning bringing periods of rain and thunderstorms that will linger through tomorrow evening. Most of the storms will not be severe, but will produce heavy rain, lightning, and some gusty winds. There will be a slight chance of some strong to severe storms in far southeast Missouri and southern Illinois Monday afternoon and evening. After some lingering showers, the rain exits Monday night. Quiet Tuesday with some cloudiness hanging around.  The next slow moving low pressure system comes our way by Wednesday night. More rain and storms through the day on Thursday. -Angela Hutti @AngWxGrl
