The 12th Annual Cranksgiving Bike Ride & Food Drive

 BWorks volunteers wanted an annual event that would give back to the same St. Louis community that supports our work with area youth. A canned food drive seemed like a good idea given the time of year ­– near Thanksgiving.  Cranksgiving has been around since 2006 and has collected over 18,000 food items. The fun begins Sunday morning at The Tap Room and will benefit Food Outreach. The Long Route (25 miles) starts at 9:30 AM, Medium (10 miles) and Short (6 miles) begin at 10:15 AM.

The Alzheimer’s Association provides free, easy-to-use tools and staff support to help participants reach their fundraising goal. While there is no fee to register, we encourage participants to fundraise in order to contribute to the cause and raise awareness.Join us Saturday, November 18th and lead the way to Alzheimer’s first survivor. Together, we can end Alzheimer’s disease!

The Ice Bucket Bash is a fun, energetic party that puts St. Louis Celebrities on the hot seat…err, we mean the cold seat! Ice Bucket Bash attendees will experience an ice-themed celebration with interactive elements for guests to explore. Five notable St. Louisans will take the stage on Friday, November 17th as guests pledge donations to see them “take the bucket.”

Girls Scout Go: Run to Cookies

Everyone is invited to join us for “Girl Scouts Go: Run for the Cookies.” Participants can choose between a 5K or 1-mile run/walk. All finishers receive a 2017 “Cookie” medal. Each year, a new “Cookie” medal will be awarded.

 

 

Mathews Dickey Sheer Elegance Fashion Show

The event is an artistic and educational journey for 20 high-school aged young women and 20 elementary-to-middle school girls. The teen Honorees are recognized for their academic, extra-curricular and community service achievements and learn a dance routine over eight weeks that they perform at the show. The younger girls, affectionately known as the Littles, receive similar training to perform their own routine at the show.
