Shelter in place lifted at St. Louis University

bullet-holeST. LOUIS (KPLR) – Several St. Louis city police officers and St. Louis University security officers converged at a building on the medical school campus after reports of shots fired Monday night.

The activity revolved around the Learning Resource Center located at 1400 South Grand.  A spokesperson for the university said 2 shots penetrated a window at the center.

No one at the center was injured.

Officers with flashlights walked an alley near the building searching for evidence, but did not find any shell casings. They did not find anyone injured or any suspects.  The lockdown ended a short while later.
