Teaching children the importance of money management

ST. LOUIS (KPLR) - How do you teach a child to appreciate hard work and saving? A person's level of financial literacy could be the difference between success and hardship. Local teachers and parents rely on Junior Achievement of Greater St. Louis to instruct students on earning income, spending, saving, and sharing.

Founded in 1943, Junior Achievement teaching approximately 22,000 students each year about money management. The organization expanded to Chesterfield in 2004.
