Chef Eric Phillips prepares signature desserts for the Chase Park Plaza Holiday Extravaganza

ST. LOUIS, MO (KPLR) – The Chase Park Plaza Holiday Extravaganza kicks off Wednesday, Nov. 30 and runs through Dec. 27!

The Holiday Extravaganza is famous for its amazing life-sized gingerbread village made by Chase Park Plaza executive pastry chef Eric Phillips and his team.

The Chase Park Plaza Holiday Extravaganza transforms the iconic hotel into a winter wonderland. An annual tradition like no other, the Holiday Extravaganza is a magical, month-long, event that is open to the public and sure to please audiences of all ages with signature holiday meals, visits with Santa and Mrs. Claus, Hanukkah celebrations, cookie decorating, Christmas carolers, and much more!

Eric Phillips will be preparing signature and unique desserts including homemade peanut brittle, holiday-spiced chocolate truffles, and wildly colorful, decorative, and edible chocolate yule logs.

A special, Home for the Holidays room package, is available for holiday guests who wish to take advantage of a 30% discount on a stay of three nights or more from Nov. 20 through Dec. 29, 2016.

Chase Park Plaza is partnering this season with Friend of Wings, a local non-profit organization whose mission is to bring comfort and quality of life to families and their children who are in their final stages of life. Friends of Wings will be at the Chase Park Plaza throughout the Holiday Extravaganza to teach guests about their mission.
