St. Louis City Police investigate homicide, several weekend shootings

ST. LOUIS, MO (KPLR)- St. Louis City Police are investigating a homicide and several shootings that occurred between Saturday and early Sunday.

Saturday afternoon around 3:00, a man was shot in the foot in the 5100 block of Riverview.

Then just a bit later, a man was shot in the head shortly before 5 P.M. at Sullivan Avenue near North Grand Boulevard. He was pronounced dead at the scene. A second man is hospitalized in critical condition.

And around 6:30 Saturday evening, a man in his 20s was shot in the buttocks at Hall Street and Prairie Avenue in North St. Louis.

Police report a woman showed up at a hospital with a gunshot wound to the arm. Police are not certain where the shooting took place, but believe it occurred near Lexington Avenue and Union Boulevard.

Early Sunday morning, shortly before 3:30 a.m., police say a man in his mid-40’s was shot in the arm near North Broadway and Branch Street.
