Endangered person advisory issued for Gavin Newman

newman-gavin-dorUPDATE:  The St. Louis County Police Department cancelled an Endangered Person Advisory for Gavin Newman, 33, on November 4, 2016.  He has been found deceased.

NORTH ST. LOUIS COUNTY, MO (KPLR) – Authorities are on the lookout for 23-year-old Gavin Newman who was last seen on October 17, 2016 at a Kmart in North St. Louis County.

Newman was seen at the Kmart located at the corner of New Halls Ferry Road and North

Lindbergh, where he left all of his belongings.  Newman is an African-American male, who’s 6 feet 1 inch tall, 145 lbs., bald, brown eyes, with patchy hair, missing ears, burn scars on face, chest, and both arms, wearing black or grey and white striped hoodie, white jeans, and black timberland boots.

Police say he may be suicidal due to severe burn scarring on his body.
