Police investigate Dutchtown murder

ST. LOUIS (KPLR) – Homicide detectives with the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department are investigating a murder that took place overnight in the Dutchtown neighborhood.

According to police, the murder occurred around 4:50 a.m. in the 3400 block of Montana Street.

Officers patrolling the area heard gunshots and rushed to the area. Once there, they found 32-year old David Baker on the ground with multiple gunshot wounds.

Baker was rushed to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Police have not identified a possible motive or suspects.
