Surveillance video captures fatal drive-by shooting; suspects sought

ST. LOUIS (KPLR) - St. Louis police release video of a deadly drive by shooting hoping you can help catch the suspects.

The video from the August 4 incident in north city was captured on a surveillance camera. It could give police the break they need in this case.

The shooting occurred on Terry near Union just before 7 p.m.

In the video, you can see a grey Chevy Impala pull-up and quickly stop – the back tires screech to a halt. Two people from the car immediately open fire; one is hanging out from a passenger side window, the other is the driver. Then the car speeds off just moments later.

The people in the car were firing at three men standing outside of a home on Terry.

Two of the men were hit; one of them, 20-year old Dominic Reece, was shot multiple times and killed. Reece was pronounced dead at the scene. The other victim, an 18-year old, was hit in the shoulder. He was taken to the hospital in critical but stable condition.

In the surveillance video, police want you to notice the wheel style on the car and some slight damage to the front left headlight. They also point out that the car has no front license plate.
