ST. LOUIS, MO (KPLR)- A north St. Louis congregation isn't letting vandals who set fire to their church stop them from holding Sunday services. The congregation of St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church moved its services down the block to a neighboring church, the Celestial Temple Of Peace.

Last week, a fire was set inside the sanctuary at St. Paul’s.  A bizarre message using a derogatory term for african Americans was spray painted on an outside door.

On Sunday,  church goers were moved from tears to cheering while the pastor encouraged them all to stick together during this trying time.

The pastor believes surveillance video shows the suspects.  He wonders if this is connected to other recent vandalism at other churches.
