Mexico, Missouri proud of native son Tyronn Lue after Cavs’ title win

MEXICO, MO (KPLR) - After last night's incredible Game 7 between the Cleveland Cavaliers and Golden State Warriors, one Missouri town is ecstatic over the Cavaliers' NBA Championship victory.

Cavs coach Tyronn Lue made a point to shout out his hometown of Mexico, Missouri multiple times during the post-game festivities.

"I'm just so proud of where I come from and its just crazy that a guy from a small town like Mexico, Missouri... just an unbelievable feeling and just happy that a small town boy can do something positive and show the younger kids that, you know, there is hope and there is a time to grow as a person and to do the right thing and it's an unbelievable feeling."

Patrick Clark visited Mexico, Missouri to speak with members of Lue's family and get the mood of the town.
