EUREKA, MO (KPLR) - When all of the flooding hit the St. Louis area this past winter, Brookdale Farms and a lot of Eureka was completely underwater.

Now that the area has dried out, it was transformed into a muddy obstacle course for the Crusher Race.

Over 600 people physically taped on their shoes as they got ready for the muddy obstacle course, a type of novelty run that is becoming more and more popular.

At the crusher race there is 5K crusher, a 10K crusher and the colossal crusher.

Throughout the course there are 31 different obstacles, some on land and others over water.

There is also a one mile kid’s crusher.

One hundred percent of the proceeds from the run go towards the Childhood Fitness Foundation, a new charity the founder of the Crusher Race just started.
