Robbers force clerk into safe at pawn shop
ST. LOUIS (KPLR) – Police want to catch two robbery suspects on the run after they forced a clerk into a safe at a north St. Louis pawn shop. Surveillance images show the suspects inside the Pawn King on North Martin Luther King last week.
Police say they asked to look at a wedding ring and when the clerk went to get it, one man took out a gun and both of them forced the clerk into a safe.
Police say the men took a lock box with money and jewelry from the counter.
They drove off in a white Chrysler 300.
