ST. PETERS, MO (KPLR) - On Wednesday over 120 cars rolled through a temporary processing center in St. Peters as State Farm agents processed damage claims from last week’s hail storms.

The streamlined process allows some customers to get a settlement check on site. Right now there were more than 28,000 hail damage claims made throughout the state of Missouri and most of them are in the St. Louis area.  Manager Brenda Martin says customers are in and out in less than 1 hour.

'When they come in they check in at the front tent and the appraiser goes over their damage with them and get an estimate then we have a group of settlers that handle the paperwork and payment. Payments are on the spot for most cases.' said Martin.

Drivers made appointments through their agents and there are similar locations in Arnold and Weldon Spring.  State Farm will be at the Old Captain Lumber across from Mid Rivers Mall at 5140 North Service Road from 10 am until 6 pm daily. They will be at all three locations for the next three weeks.
