Police investigate triple shooting in north St. Louis County

ST. LOUIS COUNTY, MO (KPLR) - Officers with the St. Louis County Police Department are investigating a drive-by shooting that occurred in a north county neighborhood Wednesday morning.

According to Sgt. Shawn McGuire, a county police spokesman, the shooting took place around 9:45 a.m. in the 9700 block of Lorna Lane. Officers found three male victims with gunshot wounds next to vehicle.

Witnesses say one home was hit by the gunfire and that at least 20 shell casing were on the ground.

Two victims, ages 17 and 22, were taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The third victim, a 23-year-old, is listed in critical condition.
