Blues claim series lead over Stars

ST. LOUIS (KTVI) - The Blues win big at Scottrade as they beat up on the Dallas Stars in game three of the playoff series between the two teams.

The Blues went on an offensive explosion with four players scoring. David Backes and Alexander Steen lit the lamp twice each en route to a dominating 6-1 win. Dallas opened the scoring with a goal in the first period.

The 6-1 win puts the Blues up two games to one in the series. Game 4 is Thursday at Scottrade with the puck dropping just after 7 p.m.

Before Game 4, you can join Fox 2 and KPLR 11 for a Blues plaza party just outside of Scottrade. The rally runs from 3:30 p.m. until 6 p.m., with live music starting at 4:30 p.m.
