ST. LOUIS (KPLR) - The St. Louis Science Center is going 'Above and Beyond' with their new exhibit of the same name, presented by Boeing.

From the moment you walk in the doors, 'Above and Beyond' will capture your imagination and put your mind hard to work.  If you can dream it, you can do it at this one of a kind aerospace exhibit.

And these are not the old fashioned walk-by static displays.  They are all high tech and interactive and all have a compelling story to tell about aerospace past, present and future.

They look 100 year into the past to see how aerospace has progressed from the early days, up through landing on the moon, current jet flight and space travel on into the future of space flight.

It has been a very popular destination according to Science Center officials, due mostly to the high tech gadgets and interactivity.

The interactive technology allows visitors to go back to basics- learning how to fly like a bird using an interface that resembles a Wii.

In the other side of the hall, a flight simulator where you first get to design your jet fighter and then jump in cockpit to take it on a test flight.

The exhibit will be at the Science Center through May 8th.  The cost is $10 for adults and $8 for kids.
