ST. LOUIS (KPLR) – The movie called “RACE” about Olympic legend Jesse Owens is in theaters across the country and a huge mural of the four time gold medalist commissioned by the film's producers is painted on a building at the corner of St. Louis Avenue and 14th Street.

William Burton Jr. and Robert Anthony Ketchens created the mural along with three other students in art program called Raw Canvass.

Owens debunked Adolph Hitler's myth of white supremacy during the 1936 Olympic Games in Berlin, Germany. And like the movie, the artists hope everyone who sees the painting will be inspired.
