RV Show in full swing at America’s Center

ST. LOUIS (KPLR) - The Vacation and RV Show was packed with shoppers Sunday as they wait for old man winter to move through the area.

FOX 2's Shawndrea Thomas shows us why 25,000 people showed up this cold and windy weekend.

As the cold weather sinks into the St. Louis metro there are some people already thinking about the summer and spring and RV`s are part of the plan.

The 2016 RV Vacation and Travel Show stopped at the America’s Center in downtown St. Louis where shoppers got their fill of the latest in RV styles.

The 39-year-old event hosted over 300 units from dozens of dealers, and as gas prices continue to drop, RV owners can`t want to hit the open road.

The Midwest Gateway Dealers Association is known for educating everyone in the industry.

This year retailers say sales have been good, and they filled over 300,000 square feet of space with 70 vendors.
