ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) - A long ago in an IMAX theatre not so far away, a Star Wars marathon was born. Folks began lining up here at the Ronnie's Theatre in south county last night around 11pm. It's a 17 hour movie marathon leading up to possibly the biggest movie debut in our galaxy.

You have three generations of fans who have gathered here. Some have taken vacation, some might have called in sick.

For those with the stomach to sit through Star Wars: Episode One, the Jar Jar Binks era, That movie began Thursday morning at 4am. The cosmic cavalcade will continue with six movies and finally the long awaited force awakens showing later this evening

For the security and the comfort of other movie goers, Wehrenberg is not permitting masks, face paint or simulated weapons. Unfortunately for most super fans, that also includes light sabers and blasters. So keep those at home and you can pretend in the comfort of your own living room.
