ST. LOUIS COUNTY, MO (KPLR) – Governor Nixon visited Riverview Gardens High School to announce a new effort to help kids stay in school and succeed even after graduation.

It’s all a part of the “Jobs for America’s Graduates” or JAG program.

Governor Nixon has expanded JAG to 16 Missouri schools so far, 5 of which are in St. Louis.

The program is meant to complement the school’s ongoing efforts to prevent dropouts and put students on a solid path to a bright future.

JAG-Missouri is operated and coordinated by the Missouri Community College Association
