BERKELEY, CA - A man in Berkeley, California got an amazing deal from domino's pizza Friday:  Along with pizza, the delivery chain accidentally threw in thirteen hundred dollars cash back!

Natasha Zouves reports.

"I ordered some pizzas and i thought I was going to have the day off, I was going to sit home and enjoy my relaxation."

This story starts with the ordinary- Mike Vegas of Berkeley called up dominos and ate just one slice before putting the rest in the fridge. It wasn't until several hours later, he noticed:

(Mike Vegas/Found Cash in Box of Wings) "My phone started blowing up and I wasn't looking at the random messages, I was at work."

Those phone calls would be from the delivery driver- who had been on his way to the bank with just one more delivery to make.

He put the cash in the wings box for safekeeping, but made a big mistake.

(Mike Vegas/Found Cash in Box of Wings) "About 5am I got home from work and went to my fridge and pulled out what I thought was wings and turned out to be 1,300 bucks."

(Mike Vegas/Found Cash in Box of Wings) "I think it's 666 here and 632 here about 13 hundred total."

It's one of those moments- you wonder what would you do?

(Mike Vegas/Found Cash in Box of Wings) "I wrote a Facebook post and there's a long list of people arguing you should keep it you shouldn't keep it."

(Mike Vegas/Found Cash in Box of Wings) "I wanted to keep it believe me! But I can't, I can't do that."

So we watched as he walked it in.

(Store Manager/No Name Provided) "Thank you so much for this, honest people are hard to find these days."

And it looks like karma might be a real thing.

"To thank you we want to offer you free pizza for a whole year."

It's an offer mike plans to take the chain up on.

(Mike Vegas/Found Cash in Box of Wings) "I'm going to have to start working out more obviously, hahaha."

Mike says his first job at 16 was delivering for pizza hut, so he feels for the driver.
