Schnucks issues recall for ground beef sold in St. Charles County store

ST. CHARLES COUNTY, MO (KTVI) – St. Louis grocer Schnucks issued a recall for ground beef sold at its Zumbehl Road store Monday. The grocery chain issued the alert after a worker in the meat department found a tray packing pad in a grinder.

The recall affects fresh ground beef purchased Monday August 10th between the hours of 8 am to 4 pm with a sell-by date of August 11, 2015.

Any customer who purchased ground beef at the store Monday  can return the product to the store for a full refund or exchange.
