Ferguson grocer raises money for wounded veterans

FERGUSON, MO (KPLR)-In July, Paul’s Market in Ferguson, MO, hosted a grill raffle to raise money for wounded veterans. On Monday, both the raffle winner and veterans visited the market on 1020 North Elizabeth to collect.

Michelle Schaefer of Ferguson won the Traeger Texas Pro Series grill valued at $1,000.

The raffle raised nearly $1,700 for the Semper Fi Fund. Veterans from the Marine Corps League Detachment 184 and the St. Louis Chapter 1st Marine Division Association were on hand to receive the check from Paul’s Market owner Gary Crump.
