Clergy reacts to Sunday night’s violence in Ferguson

FERGUSON, MO (KPLR) – Pastors are praying for peace in Ferguson after violence erupted in the City Sunday night during peaceful protests marking one year since the fatal shooting of Michael Brown. Shots were fired leaving several people injured. Community and religious leaders who have started jobs training, educational and mentoring programs say they were not surprised but clearly disappointed by the violence. They say they are not going to let the incident prevent them from accomplishing their goals.
