ST. LOUIS, MO (KPLR)- It's Friday and Emily Westerholt from the Riverfront Times stopped to share some fun events happening around town this weekend!

Friday Night Live at Ballpark Village - 7/10
The local boys in The Urge are taking over the outdoor stage down at Ballpark Village this Saturday. For what I'm sure will be an unforgettable show. Since 105.7 The Point is presenting this  show and tickets are $10.57! This show will be 18 and up. Doors will open up at 6 pm and Tasi  will take the stage at 6:45 pm and then The Urge will Jump Right in at 8:15 pm.

Fairmount Party at the Park - 7/10
Friday night at Fairmount is a Party at the Park! Join us for racing, live music from Pop n' Rocket, drink specials and more in this weekly summer tradition. Gates open at 6pm with race post time at 7:30pm, so come early to take full advantage of the $13 all-you-can-eat appetizer buffet and $2 16oz aluminum Bud, Bud Light bottles, house wine and well drinks! This is one party you won`t want to miss!!

Art Hill Film Series: Back to the Future - 7/10
This summer, join the Saint Louis Art Museum for one of our most popular programs: the free Art Hill Film Series! This year, we`re taking you back in time with great movies that celebrate anniversaries this year, starting with Back to the Future! The party starts at 6:00 pm with DJ music, an art-making activity, and food trucks serving tasty treats. Coolers, picnic baskets, and friendly dogs are welcome for your dinner on the hill before the film starts at 9:00 pm.

Slide the City Saint Louis - 7/11- 7/12
Summertime is upon us, and they are rolling out a slippery vinyl to brighten our city streets. This Guinness World Record-breaking slide is going to be the highlight of your summer! The slide will be set up on Market St. from N Jefferson Ave. to N 20th Street this Saturday and Sunday. For maximum speed and safety all sliders must have an inflatable tube to ride.  Remember to grab your friends, your swimsuit, and your signed waiver and you'll be ready to Slide the City. Single slide will be $30, Triple slide will be $45, Unlimited slide will be $65!
