ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) – The Bridgeton Landfill claims a new study shows the site does not pose a public health concern.

The study was sponsored by the landfill team and conducted by a toxicologist from a consulting firm. It claims any remnant odors are not unsafe and there’s been a decreasing trend in landfill gas.

Several people complained about the smell of the landfill. The study claims they couldn’t prove the odor came from the landfill.
