ST. LOUIS (KPLR) – AT & T is driving home the dangers of distracted driving. The AT&T’s “it can wait simulator” is used to highlight the dangers of using smartphones while driving.

Laclede gas employees tested the simulator Wednesday. When you receive a text, you have to answer it. Without speeding, swerving, or crashing.

A new survey shows 70 percent of people use their smartphones on the road, everything from scrolling through Facebook, posting pictures, even video chatting with friends.
