ST. LOUIS (KPLR) – Following the story brought to you by FOX2  of a mother being reunited with her daughter after being told her baby had died after birth, the City of St. Louis has set-up a phone for families with questions about children who were born at the former Homer G. Phillips Hospital in St. Louis.

You can now contact the health department at 314-657-1511, where you’ll be walked through the process of obtaining birth and death records.

That process has to be in writing and you’ll need your social security number.
