HOUSTON, TX - It was not candy he was stealing, but police in Houston, Texas say it does not make him any less of a thug.

They are looking for a man who they say stole a iPad from a toddler.

A couple of small children were near their mother's car in the lot when you see the man walk up and knock a boy down.

He then forcibly takes the device from the child's hands.

Police say the 2-year-old suffered minor injuries from when his head hit the ground.

(Ken Nealy/Houston Police Department) "I've been an investigator for robbery for eight plus years. I've been assigned to the FBI bank robbery task force. And I've chase a lot of crooks. But this is probably the biggest thug I've ever seen, to see some man knock a two-year-old child to the ground to take an iPad.

Police confirmed the thief is a 6-foot-tall man weighing 180 pounds with short hair.
